Xavi to leave FC Barcelona?

Xavi Hernandez with sporting director Muhammed Ghoulam

Xavi Hernandez the Spanish legend is looking to leave FC Barcelona to join Qatar's Al Sadd. Xavi is said to sign a 3 year deal with Al Sadd, for an estimated 30 million a year.

FC Barcelona midfielder Xavi Hernandez is one of the greatest midfielder. He is well known for his skills, control, and passing that he offers at his former club FC Barcelona and the Spanish National team. He is the type to help make a big difference just by being on the pitch. Xavi can help Al Sadd so much by offering his great skills and by helping bring Al Sadd, the famous playing style, Tiki taka to the Arabian League.

35 years old, Spanish midfielder is said to receive 10 million if he would to sign with Al Sadd. Reports also say he will study for his coaching licences during his time in Qatar at the Aspire Academy. Does that mean there's potential he will go back to Spain to coach FC Barcelona in the future?

The Spain playmaker is said to join Al Sadd at the end of the season and replace former Real Madrid star Raul according to AS.

What do you think about Xavi's decision to join Al Sadd instead of going to the MLS? Leave a comment! I love to hear your opinions.

FC Barcelona vs Real Madrid, El Clasico!

FC Barcelona beats Real Madrid 2-1 on Sunday March 22, 2015

El Clasico - the two biggest teams get to go head to head each year against each other for the chance to become the next La Liga champions. FC Barcelona winning 2-1 against Madrid, puts Barca ahead of Real Madrid by four point which gives Barcelona a better chance at winning the cup.

The game on Sunday was well played and well deserved. Both teams played very good but Barcelona looked more dominate in second half with more chances. Barcelona open up the scoring from a great assist by Messi to Mathieu which he then put the ball behind the net. Luis Suarez then scores the winning goal that gives Barcelona the 3 points to put them above Madrid.

Barcelona has been playing really good this season and they look unstoppable at the moment. On the other hand there rivals Real Madrid is playing not as good, but that can all change very fast. Madrid is well known for winning cups and making history but at this moment they look to be struggling, but that can all change so will have to wait and see if they can find their form and win this year’s La Liga cup.

Chelsea out of Champions League

PSG Beat Chelsea 3-2 on away goal

Pairs St-German qualifies for quarter final after beating Chelsea 2-2 on aggregate. The game looked like it was headed in Chelsea’s favour but it all changed in the second half. David Luiz goal helped PSG equalize the game and give them the confidence to play harder.  PSG Captain, Thiago Silva helped score the winning goal to send PSG to the quarter final.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic was furious after being sent off for a bad tackle. The referee made a bad decision in sending Zlatan out, he should have at least received a yellow card. Zlatan was interviewed after the game about getting sent off, he was very upset with how the players reacted to him, that he told the interviewer “I felt there were 11 babies around me, can you blame Zlatan?"  The reaction of Oscar was way too much, he seemed as if he was in soo much pain, when Zlatan barely even touched him. Also, there were rumours that Chelsea were trying to get Zlatan sent out from the beginning of the game. Overall PSG played a very good game and so they deserve to win the game, even though having their star player sent out, and being short on a player.

Di Maria is not happy at old trafford

Di Maria has been under so many heat after United has been substituting him in
the past two games, and his fans criticising him for not living up to his 59.7 million
pound fee.

what is causing star player Di maria to be unhappy? There is news going around that
Di Maria is selling his mansion in Prestbury worth 4 million euros. The mansion is
going on sale after a scary raid that involved three thieves setting off the alarm system. Di Maria was reportedly having dinner with his wife Jorgelina and his children, as thieves tried to smash through his patio door.
Everyone is safe and the thieves escaped empty handed after triggering the alarm.

Di Maria has reportedly said he is happy at United but it seems as if he is struggling to find his form at the moment. He repeatedly claims he is happy but it looks as if he's
just pretending, so we will have to wait and see what will make him happier...
Maybe Manchester United qualifying for champions league will give him
the boost he needs.

FC Barcelona in the lead

LA Liga 2014/2015 Standings

FC Barcelona is on top of the league with 62 points, ahead of Real Madrid by one
point. Can Barcelona hold the lead and win the season?

Barcelona's win against Rayo (6-1) puts Barcelona ahead of Madrid by one point.
Barcelona is looking very good this season, if they keep it up, they will be the
champions of La Liga but till then they will have to work hard and make sure their
rivals Real Madrid don't steal the lead.

Real Madrid 1-0 loss against athletic made Real Madrid lose the lead.
This loss could be a huge setback for Madrid and could result in them losing
the race to become the La Liga champions of 2015. Real Madrid will need to step up
their game, if they want to stay in the race to become the next champions.

Toronto FC headed to a great start

Toronto FC beats Vancouver Whitecaps (3-1)

Toronto FC starts the season with a great win against the Vancouver Whitecaps (3-1).
The Caps started the game confident and had many chances but fell as Toronto FC
started to take control in second half.

Toronto FC signing Giovinco this season could be the smartest signing they have made in a long time. Sebastian Giovinco the Italian international midfielder is a very talented soccer player. He's well known for his ability and skills on the field and for his
accomplishments in his former club Juventus FC.

Toronto FC could be on the start of something big this season. With their new signing and the chemistry they have as a team, they can achieve
so much and it will be exciting for the fans to see what they can accomplish
this season.

Man Utd late bid for Mats Hummels?

Is Mat Hummels on his way to Man Utd? Matt Hummels is a very good defender, he is one of the best defenders in the world. Hummels plays for Borussia Dortmund and Germany's
national team which he recently won the world cup with.

Mat Hummels is 26 years old. He's a German footballer who plays as a central defender for Borussia Dortmund and is the current captain for the team. He is said to be looking to leave his formal team, and they're many clubs out there looking to sign this talented defender, but would it be a good career move for him to join Man Utd?

Man Utd is in third place this season with 43 points, They're in need of a
defender badly. If they want to win the premier league this season they must sign a defender as soon as possible. Many believe that Man Utd has been slacking for a while now, after
Alex Ferguson retirement from Man Utd, United hasn't been playing the same.

Dortmund is also playing really bad this season, they're in 16th place, at the bottom of the table with only 19 points. Hummels should seek to join a bigger club then dortmund, that will be a good career move for him, and a move that will benefit him in the future.

Cristiano Ronaldo red card

Cristiano Ronaldo's red card against Cordoba got him suspended for two games. This is really bad for Real Madrid. Real Madrid is currently the number one team in the La Liga standings with 48 points. Barcelona is second on the standings with 47 points, which is bad news for Real Madrid because they can't lose a game if they want to stay on top, and especially now that their best player Cristiano Ronaldo is suspended. it will be very difficult for them to remain in the top.

Cristiano Ronaldo is having a difficult time outside of soccer. He recently broke up with his girlfriend Irina Shayk, a Russian Super Model. Supposedly rumours are going around that he broke up with her because she did not attend his mother's birthday, and she wasn't at his ballon d'or ceremony. So maybe Ronaldo wasn't so happy during the game which might of lead to him receiving a red card.

Real Madrid New Signing Martin Odegaard

16 Years old Martin Odegaard signed with Real Madrid for €2.3 million!
That is €40,000 a week for his first half season, plus an increase in bonuses.

Madrid Signing Martin Odegaard, I think is a very smart move by Madrid. signing such a talented 16 Year old is very good for Madrid and will benefit Madrid in the future if they take care of him.

I feel like Martin will become a big star in the future and might even
become the next best soccer player in the world one day, but till then we
will have to see how he can handle the pressure and play at a Professional
level, with big stars.

Martin is only 16, he has a long future in front of him, it will be exciting to

see how he will progress and play.

Paul Pogba joining Real Madrid?

Could the 21 year old French man be joining Real Madrid? There are rumours circulating about a future signing.

Paul Pogba has reportedly said he has not spoken to anyone about joining the club, but as more talks are going around, it seems as if there might be a chance. Paul Pogba is a very talented youngster, he is one of the best young players right now. A future move for him to Real Madrid would be a huge career success for him. Real Madrid is one of the best soccer clubs in the world. It would be great to see him play for a big club such as Real Madrid.

Paul Pogba would face competition from a former Real Madrid midfielder Isco if he were to join Real Madrid. Isco is also a youngster that's very talented, and is growing in the hearts of Madrid fans. Isco has been playing very good for Madrid this season, it would be a bad idea for Madrid to replace him with Pogba at this moment.

So I guess we'll just have to wait and see where he will end up.
